Li-75 Battery Solution

Your AT&T service is provided over AT&T’s Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) network. The FTTP network uses hair-thin strands of glass fiber and laser-generated pulses of light called fiber optics to transmit your voice communications. This very reliable network relies on an electrically powered device to convert the light pulses back to audible sound. If electrical power is lost at your home, your landline voice telephone service will not work, and you will not be able to dial 911 in an emergency unless you have a working backup power source.
To ensure you always have a working home phone, it is suggested to purchase a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply). UPS is used to restore power to the Broadband Gateway (BGW320) when commercial power goes down from the power company. The BGW320 will be powered during commercial power outages for 8 or 24 hours depending on the PSI configuration the user chooses. The BGW320 provides an Ethernet connection and voice connection to the home from AT&T.
The kit from PSI will keep your BGW320 in service for up to 24 hours when commercial power goes down.
If you choose to have less than 24 hours of backup time, there are options to utilize fewer batteries to save costs. Less backup time will allow you to ride out a shorter outage, and not experience unexpected dropped calls.
The Li-75 UPS is designed as the world’s only scalable capacity UPS for fiber/VoIP services. In addition, the UPS physically is a very small footprint (6.1in x 3.5in x 2.25) with a single battery module weighing a total of 1.76lbs.
